Reading, PA. — August 2 — Robert W. "Bob" Hackman Sr., 77, of Denver, passed away. The Kenhorst Volunteer Fire Company 69 sent condolences to the Hackman family and the Schoeneck Fire Company members. He was the chief, president, and chief engineer of Schoeneck Fire Company during his forty-five years of service. The Kenhorst community was served by the all-volunteer Kenhorst Fire Company, which was located at 305 S. Kenhorst Blvd.
Hackman's family and fellow firefighters received condolences from the department, which acknowledged his lengthy tenure in the fire service.
