Mohnton Firefighters Trained With Amity and Kenhorst

Mohnton, PA. — August 9 — On Sunday, firemen from Amity and Kenhorst participated in a training burn held by the Mohnton Fire Company. Crews had the chance to practice hose handling, fireground operations, crew coordination, and safety in a safe environment during the training. The Mohnton Fire Company, designated as Station 57 by Berks County, operated out of 100 E.


Summit St. Thru mutual aid, the organization offered emergency services and fire protection to Mohnton and the adjacent areas. Additionally, the corporation was identified as an all-volunteer group in Pennsylvania records. The combined training improved local firefighters' coordination and gave them real-world experience.
