Neshannock Firefighters Train on Elevator Emergencies

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Two former City of Pittsburgh rescue paramedics taught a seminar on elevator emergency operations for members of the Neshannock Township Fire Company.

The teachers discussed patient care and safe elevator system operations based on their practical experience with elevator-related emergency reactions. Firefighters discussed the significance of coordinated efforts and the risks connected to elevator situations.

To keep up their rescue abilities, Neshannock firefighters frequently participate in classroom and practical training. To stay ready for fire, medical, and technical rescue situations, the department mandates that its personnel undergo continuous training.
