RAWLINSVILLE, PA — July 20th —  Chief Engineer Matt Richter, who has 40 years of fire service experience, including five years with Rawlinsville, was introduced by Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company as part of their "Meet the Members Monday" series.

Richter claimed that after witnessing the robust participation and commitment of the volunteers at Station 58, he was motivated to join. One of the most fulfilling aspects of serving, according to him, is being there for people in the community when they need support.

He also emphasized the camaraderie, collaboration, and connections he has formed with other firemen over the years.

Outside of the fire department, Richter likes to barbecue, work in the yard, and spend time with his family. He also has a strong passion for Philadelphia sports.
