RAWLINSVILLE, PA — July 13th — The Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company featured Lieutenant Ike Stoltzfus, who has been with the organization for ten years, as part of their ongoing "Meet the Members Monday" series.

According to Stoltzfus, he became interested in the fire department because he wanted to be a member of a community-serving organization. Being accessible when locals need help and answering a wide range of requests, he added, is one of the most fulfilling aspects of service.

Additionally, he emphasized the department's strong feeling of collaboration and the mutual support that its members offer. One of the most remarkable aspects of his experience with the organization, according to Stoltzfus, has been brotherhood.

He also highlighted the department’s strong sense of teamwork and the support members provide for one another. Stoltzfus said that brotherhood has been one of the most memorable parts of his time with the company.

Outside the fire company, Stoltzfus works for Solanco Spray Foam installing insulation. He enjoys fishing, water sports, and spending time with his family.

Stoltzfus said being a member means helping people during difficult moments while contributing to the department’s continued service and accomplishments. Rawlinsville Fire Company thanked him for his decade of dedication to the department and community.
