Over 100 hours of scheduled teaching in eight specialist rescue disciplines were completed by Garden Spot Fire Rescue as part of a comprehensive rescue training program.

Hazardous materials, trench rescue, industrial rescue, rope rescue, confined space rescue, agricultural rescue, vehicle rescue, and water rescue were all addressed in the training. during 2,000 volunteer training hours were contributed by about 20 participants during the course of the program.

Members of the department also acted as instructors, imparting their technical expertise and experience to other firemen and assisting in the training of the upcoming generation of rescues. The program's main goal was to develop the abilities required to handle a variety of challenging situations in a safe manner.

According to Garden Spot Fire Rescue authorities, the department's capacity to deliver efficient rescue services to the communities it serves is strengthened by the ongoing investment in training.
