Weekly training was offered by members of the Mount Joy Fire Department, with an emphasis on anchor points, basic rope rigging, and haul and lower systems.

Firefighters had the chance to study the tools and methods used in technical rescue operations during the training. Crews reinforced appropriate anchor selection and setup while practicing building and using rope systems.
