Chief Siegel Completed National Fire Academy Training

Monaca, PA. — July 18 — For Pennsylvania State Weekend, Monaca Fire Chief Mike Siegel traveled to the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Siegel finished the Management of Catastrophic Incidents (W2374) course, which included leadership, coordination, and command in major catastrophes. Fire service leaders gained new abilities for handling complicated situations and allocating resources as a result of the training.


To improve emergency service leadership and response capabilities, the National Fire Academy provided specialized training. By finishing the course, Siegel advanced his career and gained knowledge that would help Monaca Fire's operations, planning, and incident leadership.
