Aliquippa, PA. — August 10 — At the August City Council meeting, Brent Peacock was named fire chief of the Aliquippa Bureau of Fire. Family members, firefighters, citizens, and city officials were present when Mayor Dwan B. Walker gave the oath of office. For thirty years, Peacock had been Aliquippa's servant.

He started working in emergency services as a paramedic at the Kennedy Boulevard fire station in the 1990s. Before becoming a fireman at Aliquippa in 2006, he worked as a crew chief for Beaver County Emergency Services. Prior to being appointed permanently, he was made an interim chief in June 2026 after being promoted to captain in 2019.
