Vehicle Extrication Training Focuses on Core Skills and Fundamentals

Beaver, PA - Firefighters from Blue Knob Volunteer Fire Company conducted a training session focused on vehicle extrication operations, reinforcing essential skills required for real-world incidents.


The drill emphasized fundamental techniques including vehicle stabilization, glass management, and both door and roof removal. While many training evolutions involve complex scenarios, this session centered on mastering the basics that form the foundation of safe and effective extrication.


The department extended appreciation to Clark’s Auto Salvage for providing vehicles used during the hands-on training.
