From Volunteer Firefighter to Division Chief: TSFRS Alumni Earns Fire Marshal Promotion
West Lawn, PA - A former Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services volunteer continues to build an impressive career in the fire service. John Matyasich began his journey with TSFRS while still in high school, where he served as a dedicated and highly valued member of the department.
Following his time with TSFRS, he attended the University of New Haven, earning a degree in Fire Science with concentrations in Fire Investigation and Fire Administration. He later joined the Fire Marshal’s Office with the Milford Fire Department, where he has continued to grow professionally.
