Blaine Hill VFC Conducted Joint EMS Training

Elizabeth, PA. — July 16 — A collaborative training session on equipment familiarization and operation was held by Blaine Hill VFC and SouthEast Regional EMS. During the lesson, firefighters and EMS professionals went over the equipment and practiced using it correctly. Both agencies' expertise with equipment that might be utilized during emergency calls improved as a result of the training.


Additionally, joint sessions allow fire and EMS personnel to collaborate prior to responding to an emergency. SouthEast Regional EMS provides emergency medical response and training to local departments on a regular basis. During the session, Blaine Hill VFC improved coordination and operational readiness with its EMS partners. Participating staff members gained practical experience from the course.
