Tarentum, PA. — July 11 — Firefighters from various local departments came together for practical training and experience sharing at Forward Township Volunteer Fire Company Station 155. Younger firefighters learned skills and lessons from seasoned chiefs and officers who led the workshop. Instructors included Steve Poorman, Kevin Tennant, John Hess, Brandon Newman, and Jeremy Rager.

The course concentrated on enhancing firefighting knowledge, developing abilities, and learning from seasoned professionals. The session was also attended by members from West Mifflin 295, Elizabeth Boro 139, Blaine Hill VFC 142, and Gallatin-Sunnyside 154. Departments had the chance to collaborate and learn from each other during the session.
