On August 5, the Braydon Lingenfelter Memorial Fund made a substantial grant to the Ashville Volunteer Fire Company, extending their long-standing collaboration with the department.
Before he passed away in 2016, Lingenfelter was a young man who wanted to work as a firefighter in Ashville. The organization has continued to help Ashville Volunteer Fire Company and its members since the creation of the memorial fund.
The department conveyed their gratitude for the ongoing assistance. On September 12, the memorial fund will also hold its eighth annual charity motorcycle run.
