On August 1, IAFF Local 299 members finished practical car extrication training with assistance from TeamTig Towing.
In a controlled training environment, firefighters worked with rescue equipment and practiced extrication tactics using accessible vehicles. Crews can stay proficient with the equipment and techniques used in auto accidents with repeated practical experience.
