Tarentum, PA. — July 11 — Charter life member Kay Don Yute, who passed away on July 11, 2026, was honored by Frazer Volunteer Fire Department #2. Yute spent 61 years in the department after joining in 1965. In addition to serving as chaplain, he was the department treasurer from 1975 to 2002. In that capacity, he provided long-term departmental support to firefighters and their families.

Yute was the final member of Frazer VFD #2's charter life. Leadership, administrative tasks, and ongoing community and departmental involvement were all part of his extensive service. Members honored Yute for his years of devotion and commitment, which shaped the department's traditions and history.
