On August 5, Willington Fire Department No. 1 honored Life Member Jim Humphrey for his 50 years of service to the fire department and the Town of Willington.
Humphrey received a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly during the department's monthly meeting in recognition of his fifty years of community service and dedication.
The citation was delivered by Senator Jeff Gordon and Representative Tammy Nuccio. Humphrey was recognized by the Willington Fire Department for his many years of service and accomplishments.
