On August 5, Firefighter Kyle Morris received recognition from the Portland Fire Department and its Training Division following his certification as an Advanced EMT (AEMT) thru the National Registry.
Morris is a member of Platoon 1 and joined the department in September 2025. As he moves into his new advanced EMS position, he will start field training on the department's MedCu unit in the upcoming weeks.
