After forty years of service to the Town of Andover, firefighter Daniel "Bucky" Guillet retired on July 26 and received recognition from Andover Fire Rescue.
On February 18, 1986, Guillet joined the department. Throughout the 1990s, he worked with Engine Company 1 and responded to various single-alarm and multiple-alarm fires in Lawrence. He served with Engine Company 3-Unit 4 for the final thirty years of his career.
