Lewiston, ME - The Lewiston Fire Department concluded Rookie School with live burn training, providing the department’s newest firefighter with hands-on experience in real fire conditions.
The training focused on fire behavior, thermal dynamics, and coordinated team operations, allowing the new member to apply classroom knowledge in a controlled, realistic environment. Live burn evolutions also gave experienced firefighters the opportunity to reinforce core skills and tactics.
The department extended appreciation to the Auburn - Maine Fire Department for providing the facility and supporting the training effort.
