Falmouth, MA. — July 4 — In honor of the country's 250th anniversary, Falmouth Fire/Rescue, 399 Main St., urged locals and guests to enjoy Independence Day in a safe manner. During holiday events, the department advised the public to practice fire safety, remain hydrated, and avoid needless risks. Additionally, officials urged onlookers to stay vigilant near grills, campfires, and other heat sources and to attend professional fireworks shows.


Fireworks continue to be a major source of holiday-related fires and injuries, according to the National Fire Protection Association, highlighting the significance of adhering to safety regulations. The message reaffirmed the department's ongoing dedication to community safety, public education, and fire prevention.
