Albany, NY - The Wellsville NY Volunteer Fire Department conducted a hands-on training session for junior members, focusing on building and reinforcing fundamental firefighting skills.

The session included apparatus walkthroughs, hydrant operations, and hose handling, along with stretching and reloading handlines. Junior members also assisted with equipment readiness by reloading hose following prior company training.

Led by junior leadership and guided by advisors, the training provided valuable experience and helped strengthen the skills, confidence, and teamwork of the department’s next generation of firefighters.
