Fairport, NY - Firefighters from the Fairport Fire Department responded on mutual aid early Saturday morning, deploying apparatus and manpower to assist neighboring crews with a working structure fire on Daley Road in eastern Monroe County.
On the morning of September 5, Fairport Engine 3413 was dispatched into the Egypt Fire Protection District following reports of an active, working residential blaze.
Upon arrival on Daley Road, Engine 3413’s company integrated with interior and exterior suppression teams, working alongside responders from the Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department and primary Egypt units. Fairport personnel engaged in direct fire extinguishment and conducted extensive overhaul operations, checking structural voids, opening up concealed spaces, and pulling building materials to ensure all hidden fire pockets were fully drenched and extinguished.
The collaborative mutual aid effort ensured the fire was mitigated quickly and thoroughly overhauled without incident. No injuries were reported among responding mutual aid crews.
