Ipswich, Mass. — July 4 — The Ipswich Fire Department, located at 55 Central St., Ipswich, MA 01938, celebrated Independence Day by urging locals and guests to enjoy the holiday in a safe manner. The public was cautioned by firefighters to abide by Massachusetts pyrotechnics regulations, utilize grills and outdoor cooking equipment sensibly, and regulate campfires.


Additionally, the department advised families to keep a fire extinguisher or water on hand for outdoor events. Due to fireworks, travel, and outdoor events, fire departments in Massachusetts often prepare for an increase in emergency calls during the Fourth of July. In their message, the agency reaffirmed its dedication to keeping the neighborhood safe over the holiday.
