On July 27, Amherst Fire and EMS honored Lieutenant Green for ten years of service.

Lt. Green has provided emergency response, leadership, and day-to-day department operations to the Amherst community over the last ten years. He was commended by department authorities for his devotion, professionalism, and ongoing commitment to safeguarding residents and assisting other firefighters and emergency medical services professionals.
