On July 17, the Bristol Girls Little League 12U Softball State Champions left for the Eastern Regionals Tournament escorted by Engineer 5 and Deputy Chief Scully of the Bristol Fire Department.
Along with family, friends, and local authorities, firefighters acknowledged the team's state title and wished the players well as they moved on to regional competition. The escort demonstrated the department's ongoing support for community events and young people in the area.
