West Haven (CT) 911 Dispatcher Richard Standish working his last shift, on July 5, 2024, after a 47 year career. There was a radio sign off, on duty firefighters and apparatus in front parking lot, and bagpipes by New Haven County Firefighters Emerald Society. On duty officers lined up in the hall outside dispatch to shake his hand. He was driven home by E31.
