Saugerties Fire Hosts Fourth of July Parade

The Saugerties Fire Department held a Fourth of July parade on Sunday, July 4.

The parade made its way through town and down Main Street where judges observed the parade to award trophies afterwards.

The parade drew a large crowd along the road and brought people and agencies from Ulster and surrounding counties.

Those in the parade included Saugerties Police, Ulster County Sheriff’s, Dutchess County Sheriff’s, Diaz Ambulance/Paramedics, United States Coast Guard as well as Saugerties, Malden-West Camp, Saxton, Port Ewen, Glasco, Mount Marion, Ruby, Woodstock, West Hurley, Centerville-Cedar Grove, Palenville, East Kingston and Ulster fire departments.
