Tionesta, Pa. — June 24 — Drafting and pump operations were the main topics of the Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department's monthly training session. Firefighters studied how to set up a dependable water supply and run fire equipment during emergencies, especially in places without hydrants.

Every month on the fourth Tuesday, the department conducts training to improve firefighting techniques and preserve operational preparedness.
