Colchester, VT - On 18 May 2026 at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Colchester Fire Department was dispatched to the Town of Milton to provide mutual aid for a reported structure fire. Colchester crews responded with an engine company and worked alongside Milton firefighters at the scene. Following the successful knockdown of the main fire, personnel assisted with overhaul operations to help ensure the area was fully secured.
