East Brooklyn Thanks Dispatchers During Recognition Week

EAST BROOKLYN, CT — April 13th — The East Brooklyn Fire Department honored the efforts of local dispatchers in honor of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.


The Quinebaug Valley Emergency Communications, Inc. was thanked by department members for their assistance in responding to calls, organizing resources, and assisting crews prior to their arrival on the scene.


Dispatchers maintain communication and make sure units have the information they need to function efficiently while handling high call volumes and fast-paced circumstances. An essential component of emergency response activities is their consistent presence.
