Stafford Fire Receives $2,000 Equipment Donation

STAFFORD, CT — April 17th — The Force for Good Foundation has donated $2,000 to the Stafford Fire Department No. 1, Inc. to support equipment upgrades.
In order to ensure dependable water supply operations during emergencies, the funds will be utilized to replace the suction intake valve on Engine-Tanker 245. Maintaining and replacing equipment is still essential to making sure it works well on the fireground.
Chief Rick Hartenstein received the cheque from Connecticut Water Company's Scott Bonett, who was accompanied by Department President Paul Burns.
