On April 1st, Cliffside Park overcame a challenge of a two alarm fire being at 184 Cottage Place, a street so narrow that an aerial could not get to the building and have room for outrigger placement. Ground ladders had to be carried in to the fire building. The heavy fire was knocked down and the fire was placed under control in less than two hours.
