Mashpee, MA - The Mashpee Fire Department’s Group 3 recently participated in hands-on training using the Barnstable County Fire Academy’s car fire prop. During the session, firefighters practiced modern techniques and successfully deployed the department’s new electric vehicle nozzle, designed to address the unique challenges of EV fires.

The training enhanced operational readiness and reinforced effective response strategies for real-world incidents.

The department expressed appreciation to Barnstable County and looks forward to continued training sessions with all groups throughout the week.
