Huntington Firefighters Extend Condolences to Walnuttown Fire Co.

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — April 4th — Following the deaths of two senior officials, the firefighters of Walnuttown Fire Company received condolences from members of Huntington Volunteer Fire Co. #1 Station 75 Fire. For many years, Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Rob Shick supported regional operations and responded to emergencies for their department and community. Both officers were in leadership positions and had their commitment to the fire service acknowledged by nearby units.


Volunteer fire companies depend on seasoned personnel who dedicate several hours to community safety, response, and training. The emergency services community is affected by the departure of long-serving officers. As Walnuttown Fire Company remembers the service and dedication of both officers, firefighters from neighboring departments continue to send messages of support.
