March 18, 2026 — Gainesville Fire Rescue units responded to a vehicle vs. building incident at the Boardwalk Apartments.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle had struck the structure. Firefighters secured the scene and ensured the safe evacuation of the affected apartments. No injuries were reported.
A ladder truck was positioned on scene as crews assessed the building and checked for any structural or safety concerns.
