Life-Saving Efforts Follow Serious Vehicle-Pedestrian Collision

Colchester, VT - A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on College Parkway, according to the Colchester Fire Department. Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving reports of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian incident with CPR in progress. Upon arrival, responders found bystanders already performing lifesaving measures.
Firefighters and EMS personnel continued resuscitation efforts before transporting the patient to the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Despite the efforts of bystanders and emergency responders, the patient was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The incident involved the Colchester Fire Department and Saint Michael's College Fire and Rescue.
