On March 12, members of Germantown Hose Company No. 1 held a training drill focusing on fire, police, and pump operations.

During the exercise, firefighters practiced situating gear, generating a water supply, and efficiently moving water on the fireground. Crews were also instructed to locate and use alternate water sources that may be required in places where hydrants are restricted.

According to department officials, the simulation helped members enhance teamwork and preserve the operational abilities needed during emergencies. Regular training ensures that firemen are ready to respond successfully while also protecting the community and fellow responders.
