Putnam Valley Fire Department Releases February Call Summary

March 8, 2026 — The Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to 36 calls for service during February, according to the department’s monthly activity report.


The calls included a wide range of emergency responses throughout the community. Firefighters handled 15 alarm activations or fire-related incidents, 11 motor vehicle accidents, five minor hazard calls, and five agency assists.


Monthly summaries provide residents with a snapshot of the type and volume of emergencies handled by the department while highlighting the ongoing commitment of volunteer firefighters who respond to protect the community.
