Lambertville, N.J. — December 6 — A reported launderette fire prompted the West Amwell Fire Company STA26 to respond to Fire Box 17-02. Chief 26, Car 26-1, and Quint 26 reacted with four members under Lt. Hunt. Chief 26 took over as soon as he arrived. In order to support operations, Quint 26 was positioned on the A/B corner and laddered the structure to offer roof access.

Alongside other firms on the box, crews coordinated roof access and support functions as needed while helping with assigned fireground responsibilities. Before being allowed to leave the site, Station 26 employees worked for about 1.5 hours. The event demonstrated the ongoing cooperation between local agencies in responding to commercial fires, with units resuming operations once tasks were finished.
