Pittstown, N.J. — December 26 — Over the course of many days, the Quakertown NJ Fire Company-91 Fire/Rescue, which is situated at 67 Quakertown Road, responded to 10 service requests, including one for medical help in the winter.
Ambulance 91-51, Brush 91, and Car 91-2 were among the units responding to the occurrences. The Franklin Township Department of Public Works made several passes on the road to preserve safe access for emergency vehicles and enhance driving conditions while crews worked on the incident. Responses were able to proceed quickly because of the established working relationship between the township DPW and the fire company, which included direct truck-to-truck radio contacts. Coordination with DPW is still crucial for ensuring safe and efficient emergency operations, and many occurrences now depend on outside assistance.
