Members of Monroeville Fire Department Company 5 contributed extra personnel to support fire safety across the borough as Monroeville Volunteer Fire Department Company 1 and Monroeville Fire Company 6 had their yearly holiday celebrations. Throughout the evening, volunteers worked at the station, preparing and serving a pasta meal, and conducting training exercises between calls. Throughout the night, Company 5 kept its personnel level at 15, with six crew members staying on duty. While some businesses were momentarily unavailable for their events, the additional coverage guaranteed continuous response capabilities.
