Engine 42 Assists at Working House Fire in Plum Borough

Plum Borough, Pa. — December 12 —Engine 42 of Monroeville Fire Department Company #4 responded to a reported house fire in Plum Borough's Holiday Park neighborhood on Friday night. Engine 42 was assigned the task of supplying water upon arrival at the scene as the second-due engine.
The crew moved a 350-foot hose line to assist with interior activities after obtaining supplies. While workers were working in the home's attic, Engine 42 supported Engine 236. Supporting suppression operations and guaranteeing sufficient water supply for interior personnel were the main objectives of the job. After the incident, Engine 42 was put back into service after operating on the site until assignments were finished.
