Busy December 6 Sees Monroeville Co. 4 Handle Multiple Fire Calls

Monroeville, Pa. — December 6 —Throughout Saturday, members of Monroeville Fire Department Company #4 responded to several fire-related calls in several first-due areas, managing a high number of events. Engine 42 responded to a business fire alarm in the vicinity of Company 6 at 4:08 a.m., which was later determined to be an apartment kitchen fire. Searches conducted by crews turned up no results.

Rescue 4 arrived at a Penn Township working home fire at 9:54 p.m. in response to reports of individuals being trapped, helping with the search and rescue of victims. Engine 42 managed additional alarm activations while troops were committed. During the day, Company 4 personnel responded to 19 fire and emergency medical service requests.
