Stratford, NJ — December 12 — Members of the Stratford Fire Department supported a long-standing community event that aims to assist local families throughout the Christmas season by attending the 13th Annual Toy Drive at Sterling High School.

PBA Local #30 joined fire department personnel to help with toy collection and community engagement throughout the event. Every year, volunteers, first responders, school employees, and students get together to donate toys to underprivileged kids. Events like this, according to officials, foster stronger bonds between emergency personnel and the communities they serve outside of emergency situations. The Stratford Fire Department thanked Sterling High School for planning and carrying on this annual holiday custom.
