TYRE, NY - On Monday, December 27, 2021 at 10:43 A.M., Clyde firefighters responded to the report of a camper on fire in the eastbound lane of the New York State Thruway, at mile marker 316.4 in the town of Tyre (Seneca County). Fire units arrived on location to find the RV fully involved in flames. There were no injuries reported. New York State Police believe a mechanical malfunction sparked the blaze.
