The solemn event brought together firefighters, veterans’ organizations, clergy, and community members to remember and honor the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have passed on.

During the ceremony, wreaths were respectfully placed to commemorate fallen service members, accompanied by prayers, the presentation of colors, and moments of reflection. Department members stood alongside veterans in uniform, reinforcing the strong bond between first responders and the military community. Fire officials emphasized that the freedoms enjoyed today are the direct result of the sacrifices made by those honored during the ceremony.

The Hazleton Fire Department expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to participate and reaffirmed its commitment to never forget the service and sacrifice of the nation’s veterans. The department noted that events such as Wreaths Across America serve as an important reminder of the courage, dedication, and legacy left behind by those who served.
