ERIE, PA — March 27th — After a bystander noticed smoke coming from an outbuilding, the Kuhl Hose Fire Department, located at 3131 Rescue Lane, responded to a reported structure fire on Morehouse Road. When Engine 683 arrived, it verified that the fire was operational. After making access with a 2-inch handline, crews discovered the fire in a small storage area within. Manpower and EMS coverage were given by mutual assistance organizations such as Brookside Fire Co. Station 24, Fuller Hose Company #1, Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, Wattsburg Hose Company, and EnergyCare.
