Lebanon, Connecticut — December 19 — Due to emergency operations and hazardous travel conditions, the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department Inc. reported multiple road closures throughout the municipality. Babcock Hill Road near No. 100, Madley Road near No. 33, Mack Road near No. 197, Tobacco Road near No. 515, and Cook Hill Road near No. 385 were all closed. Clubhouse Road at Bascom Road and Route 16 at Goshen Hill and Tangle Tree Farm were also closed.

To enable emergency services to work safely and to restrict car traffic close to the scene, firefighters and supporting agencies guarded these locations. Drivers were instructed to use other routes and stay off the impacted roads. Until conditions improved and operations were finished safely, roads remained closed.
