Firefighter Steve Shorts Deploys UTV for Race Day Medical Support

As part of a coordinated medical response plan, Colchester Fire & EMS volunteer firefighter Steve Shorts brought the unit to the scene. In order to cover the course and the adjacent spectator areas, UTV 228 worked with six other EMS UTVs. Five patients were assessed and treated by the crew during the race.
